Process Service in Chile
Chile Investigations provides process service and document-delivery support in Chile for international law firms, corporations, investigators and other overseas clients. Assignments are handled according to the client's instructions, the nature of the documents and the practical circumstances surrounding the recipient and location.
Service attempts may be conducted at residential, business or other relevant addresses provided or identified for the assignment. Each attempt is documented carefully, including relevant circumstances surrounding the delivery or attempted delivery of the documents.
Where requested and appropriate to the assignment, reporting may include dates and times of attempts, location details, relevant observations and photographic or other supporting evidence. Written confirmation or an affidavit describing the service or attempted service can also be provided for the client's records.
Bilingual affidavit support in English and Spanish can be arranged when required. Because requirements for service and evidentiary documentation vary between jurisdictions and proceedings, clients should specify any particular instructions or formal requirements applicable to their matter before the assignment begins.
Chile Investigations provides investigative and document-delivery support and does not represent that private delivery constitutes formal judicial service under Chilean procedural law where service by an authorized Chilean official is legally required.
